Community Emergency Response Team
(C.E.R.T.)

C.E.R.T. is a program that trains our citizens to keep themselves, their families and neighbors safe during a disaster until professional help can arrive. Training topics include Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue, Fire Suppression, and Terrorism. We also offer C.E.R.T. Continuing Education Classes once a month which include CPR, a Mock Disaster Drill, Incident Command Systems, and Emergency Management. To be certified, participants must complete 17 hours of training. Special sessions can be scheduled for groups of 15 or more. Contact Captain Mike Carsillo at 561-835-2910 for more information.
