Citizens Police and Fire Academy
A 13-week course that meets once a week. The training includes detailed information on such topics as uniformed patrol, criminal investigation, dispatch operations, fire rescue, EMS, Special Operations and many other police and fire activities. This program has become one of our most successful projects. The feedback that we receive from the citizens during and after the class is positive; they have an excellent understanding of how their departments function, the participants then go back to their neighborhoods as a supportive tool for the Police and Fire department.
