- In 2005 Palm Beach County was the forth highest County in the State in the number of reported auto thefts with 6151, a decrease of 30% compared from 1997. Amongst cities, West Palm Beach ranked 15TH with 967 a decrease of over 50% compared from 1997.
- During 2004 in the State of Florida there were 75,204 cars stolen, that’s an average of 6267 per month. An average of 1446 per week, 206 per day, 8.5 per hour vehicles are stolen.
- Chances are 1 in 42 that either your vehicle or its contents will be stolen this year. Another 1.8 million vehicles had contents taken and 1.1 million had accessories stolen.
