Security Surveys

A law enforcement security survey that promotes awareness and identifies property safety deficiencies for residential homes and businesses. The object of this service is to meet with the owner/tenant and review their procedures and living habits and assist them in making any changes that will help them become more aware of their safety and the securing of their property. We walk through the property and suggest better locking devices, upgraded doors or windows, which areas of their alarm system could be upgraded for better monitoring, we suggest burglar resistant landscape, proper outdoor lighting, what to do if they are faced with a crisis on their property and how important it is to have an emergency plan of action to follow. Also, we explain how participating in Operation I.D. Can benefit them in case their property is taken during the commission of a crime.
A Business Survey is a two part survey.
1) A business survey receives the same suggestions as above in addition to the placement of cameras and monitors, cash handling practices, how and when to drop cash, opening and closing practices of the business, how many employees should be on per shift for maximum safety, what to do in case of a shoplifting or a robbery in their businesses and what procedures should be followed to protect the crime scene until the police arrive.
2) After this survey is completed each business is scheduled to have their employees trained on the above points. In order to train their employees we then must review the business company policies and procedure, and in some cases, suggest adding or changing points that would better benefit the safety of their customers, employees and company.
